If you are using WordPress or your web hosting provider supports cron jobs, you might be interested in automatically sending your blog post’s RSS feed as a newsletter.

Send RSS Feed as Email Newsletter Automatically in WordPress

For WordPress users, we have a simple plugin that does the job with only one setting option. All you need is to download and install the plugin, add the feed automation action URL and you are done.

To get the feed automation URL, log in to your Jolt account, on the sidebar of the admin dashboard, go to the “Others” tab, and copy the feed automation action URL

RSS Feed Automation Settings

In your Jolt settings page, go to Feed automation schedule and select whether you want to send your RSS Feed newsletter daily, weekly, or monthly.

Under the feed automation setting or details, add the RSS feed URL and the maximum number of feed items to send in a newsletter. For example, if you want users to only receive a newsletter for blog posts published in the news category, add the RSS feed for the news category.

The WordPress Feed automation plugin will only trigger if you access and publish a post from your WordPress editor. Alternatively, if you are using cPanel or any hosting that supports cron jobs, use the setup procedure on this page.
