Benchmark Email has introduced 2-factor Authentication (2FA) to enhance user security. This feature is now available to users on Pro and Enterprise plans.

Enabling 2-Factor Authentication in Benchmark Email

To enable 2FA in your Benchmark Email account, follow the steps below;

  • Login into your Benchmark Email account
  • Once logged in, navigate to your Account Settings
  • In the Account Settings section, click on the “Security” option.
  • Under the Security section, you’ll find the option to enable 2-Step Verification by email.

The email address you used to register your Benchmark Email account will be used for enabling 2FA.

With 2-factor Authentication enabled, every time you log in from a different device or after 30 days, you will be prompted to enter a verification code sent to your registered email address. The verification code has a 15-minute expiration time.

If at any point you find that 2FA adds complexity to your workflow, you can easily disable it.

2-Factor Authentication

Even with a strong password, certain security breaches, such as session hijacking, can pose a significant threat to your account. 2-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security that goes beyond passwords, sessions, and cookies.
